I could never speak in public.
Mouth dry, eyes dried,
like I’ve vacationed the oven,
overly fixed
on the seats
filled with verdict,
but they do not verbalize,
as if judging mutely
provides retreat.

Take your finger
and make spaghetti moves
to my cranium but be careful;
I am afraid of splattering
all over the front half
of this mildly filled space.
